Afflerbach Bödenpresserei can produce all shapes and dimensions
from dishes to hemisphericals and thicknesses 1 - 250 mm.

Torispherical heads type "Klöpper" DIN 28011 (cr = o.d.; k.r = 0,1 o.d.)

up to 4300 mm Ø hot pressed / 200 mm thickness
up to about 5500 mm Ø / 32 mm, (hot) dished and cold spun

Torispherical heads type "Korbbogen" DIN 28013 (R = 0,8 o.d., k.r. = 0,154 o.d.)

up to 4300 mm Ø hot pressed / 200 mm thickness
up to about 5300 mm Ø / 32 mm, (hot) dished and cold spun

Elliptical / Ellipsodial heads (2:1 + 1,9:1)(R > D, r = 15 - 50 mm or more)

and cold spinning process, in single-piece construction

Hemispherical heads(R = 0,5 d.)

Normal and shallow dished heads (R > D, r = 15 - 50 mm or more)

Note: If there would be no tooling available to press your heads in a single piece, we can dish and press crown and petals and prepare them, ready to be welded, or if you prefer to keep that value added in your hands: deliver them as rough parts with sufficient allowance for you to cut to size, bevel and assemble them at your shop or site.

On request, heads of all types can be fitted with round or oval flanged-in or flue-out openings for manholes.
